Job summary

Seek's Insight Cloud team is seeking a Data Scientist to explore subscriber and publisher data, build analytical models, and apply ML techniques to uncover trends that drive industry-wide improvements.

You will collaborate with BI developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver analytics apps and visualizations that translate complex data into actionable insights. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in data science or data analytics.
• Proficiency in Python libraries for data transformation, regression, classification, and clustering.
• Experience in data prep and feature engineering.
• Proficient SQL skills: joins, subqueries, window functions, CTEs, aggregations, and complex manipulations.
• Experience with data visualization tools or dashboards.
• Strong communication and independent problem solving.
• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, CS, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, sparse datasets to extract patterns using advanced statistical methods and ML.
• Construct and maintain data processing workflows for efficient mapping and transformation.
• Perform data enrichment by sourcing additional datasets with publisher data.
• Develop complex queries and scripts to transform and model data.
• Translate business challenges into analytical frameworks and data-driven solutions.
• Assist BI developers in creating interactive dashboards for intuitive visualizations.
• Collaborate with BI, data engineering, data scientists, and stakeholders to align with goals.
• Write documentation for models, pipelines, and workflows.
