Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a data scientist to collect and explore large data sets, designing data modeling processes and predictive models to drive business outcomes.

You will work with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, prioritize projects and develop models to improve product development, marketing strategies and client outcomes. A hybrid work arrangement is available, with expected collaboration across US offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, applied mathematics or related field.
• 5 years of relevant experience applying data science techniques to business functions.
• Strong foundations in ML/AI, statistics and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Works with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
• Prioritizes, scopes and manages data science projects for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Mines and analyzes data to drive optimization of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
• Develops custom data models and algorithms for data sets.
• Writes programs and analyzes large datasets to answer complex problems.
• Develops testing frameworks and monitors model performance.
• Coordinates with teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
