Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 0-2 years analytics/data/modeling experience.
• Exposure to energy/utility markets or pricing/forecasting preferred.
• Databricks/Spark/Azure or similar experience.
• SQL and relational databases knowledge.
• Python or R for analysis.
• Follow documentation, validation, and reproducibility standards.
• Ability to communicate results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of data engineering concepts and cloud analytics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer/market data for pricing, planning and forecasting.
• Develop reusable data pipelines and curated datasets.
• Maintain and validate models and recurring reports.
• Develop baseline statistical or ML models.
• Use AI tools to automate routine analysis and reporting.
• Document assumptions, code and data lineage.
• Continuously improve data quality, model performance and efficiency.
• Monitor data pipelines and data quality issues.
