D.R. Horton, Inc. is looking for a Data Scientist who will shape how advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI capabilities address meaningful business problems.

You will explore data, build and validate models, translate findings into practical recommendations, and help move analytical ideas toward production use. The ideal candidate combines strong quantitative skills with business judgment and a desire to create measurable impact.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science or related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of data science, advanced analytics, ML, or related experience
• Strong Python and SQL with statistics, ML, forecasting and model evaluation; familiarity with LLMs
• Experience communicating analytical findings to stakeholders
• Familiarity with source control, reproducible analysis, and production model practices
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver results in a dynamic environment
• Ability to build trusted relationships across the organization

Responsabilidades

• Explore data, develop features, and build analytical and machine learning models for business use cases
• Evaluate models using technical and business metrics and document assumptions
• Partner with SMEs to understand processes, decisions, constraints, and success measures
• Collaborate with data engineers and Forward Deployed Engineers to produce analytical logic
• Create visualizations and presentations that translate technical results into business implications
• Contribute reusable code, features, evaluation approaches, and documentation for analytics standards
• Represent the function in cross-functional governance and readiness activities
• Stay current on data, AI, software and industry practices and apply new capabilities for business value
• Identify and pilot opportunities where data and AI create business value
• Conduct all business ethically and professionally
• Ability to travel overnight
