Job summary

Prime Video is seeking a Data Scientist to design experiments, evaluate AI systems, and translate model results into actionable business insights. You will work with science teams to probe model behavior and communicate findings to senior leaders.

As a Data Scientist, you will apply statistical modeling, causal inference, and data analysis to answer business questions, while thriving in a fast-paced environment in Culver City.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field (statistics, math, data science, econ, etc).
• 2+ years of data scientist experience.
• 2+ years of SQL, Python, or statistical software experience.
• 2+ years of ML modeling and analytics experience.
• 1+ years of working with or evaluating AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze randomized experiments to validate models and measure impact of changes.
• Build evaluations and benchmarks for AI systems and define performance criteria.
• Run deep-dive analyses on model outputs, experiments and user data to uncover insights.
• Apply statistical modeling, causal inference, and data analysis to inform business decisions.
• Communicate findings to business, finance, engineering and science stakeholders through clear analyses and docs.
