Job summary

Wyetech seeks a highly skilled data analytics professional to join the Secure the Enterprise initiative. You will shift from manual security evaluation to automated, auditable processes, leveraging Python to process security data and support RMF lifecycle assessments.

The role requires TS/SCI with poly, a strong quantitative background, and a decade of analytics and programming experience in R/Python/SAS/MATLAB. Travel and multi-site work are likely.

Qualifications

  • TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph
  • Bachelor's and Master's in a quantitative discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Ten years of experience analyzing datasets and developing analytics and ten years of experience programming with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB
  • An additional two years of experience in software development, cloud development, analyzing datasets, or developing analytics can substitute for a Master's degree
  • PhD in a quantitative discipline can substitute for four years of experience

As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuousmonitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Capabilities
  • Develop and enhance automated capabilities that replace manual security evaluation and authorization processes.
  • Use Python to process, analyze, and validate security related data, ensuring systems and resources meet security requirements.
  • Detect anomalies and outliers to assess progress through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle.
  • Identify system associations for resources based on various attributes and known system information.
  • Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines to collect and integrate data from multiple sources (network sensors, security tools, compliance databases).
  • Transform and prepare data for reporting, analysis, and automated assessments.
  • Support data engineering operations including data quality checks, pipeline monitoring, workflow optimization, and timely delivery of security insights.
Required Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
  • Bachelor's and Master's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering or computer science).
  • Ten years of experience analyzing datasets and developing analytics, and ten years of experience programming with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB.
  • An additional two years of experience in software development, cloud development, analyzing datasets, or developing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics can be substituted for a Master's degree.
  • A PhD from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline can be substituted for four years of experience.

$65.83 - $126.96 an hour

Pay Range: $65.83 - $126.96 per hour*

Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location. *Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
