Location: Washington DC / Can be remote from the US but will need to travel to DC.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Analyze unstructured and semi-structured data, including latent semantic indexing (LSI), entity identification and tagging, complex event processing (CEP), and apply analysis algorithms on distributed, clustered, and cloud-based high-performance infrastructures.
2. Apply creative, non-traditional approaches to large-scale analysis of unstructured data supporting high-value use cases visualized through multi-dimensional interfaces.
3. Handle processing and indexing requests against high-volume data collections and high-velocity data streams.
4. Utilize advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and discover insights in complex data, providing recommendations for business and analytic decisions.
5. Experience with machine learning, algorithm analysis, and data clustering.
6. Collaborate with visualization specialists to ensure outputs aid understanding of complex problems.

Required Skills and Experience

• BA/BS and 4+ years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience in two or more of the following: Python, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Neural Networks.
• Proficient in statistical and data visualization tools such as PySpark, Databricks, MLFlow, R, Pandas, Jupyter, Tableau.
• Proven experience solving problems with structured and unstructured data.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a government suitability clearance. Permanent Residents or Visa Holders are not eligible.
