Location: WFH Remote*

Compensation: Salary Range: $135,000 – $170,000 annually, depending on experience and location

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday

We are looking for Data Scientist to join our growing team and help us in our vision to give back lives, reunite families, and heal communities that are suffering from the devastating effects of substance use disorder.

The Role:

  • Design, build, and maintain a master data dictionary to standardize data definitions and improve data governance across the organization.
  • Conduct exploratory and statistical analyses on clinical and marketing datasets to uncover insights and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Implement secure data transfer protocols, including the use of data safe rooms or other privacy-preserving technologies.
  • Document data workflows, analytical methodologies, and data lineage to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
  • Support regulatory and compliance efforts by ensuring data handling practices meet industry standards.
  • Understanding data analytics and actionable data science
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Biostatistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with clinical or healthcare data, preferably in a pharmaceutical or life sciences environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
  • Familiarity with data privacy and security practices, including experience with data safe rooms or similar technologies.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry operations and marketing analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data governance tools or metadata management platforms.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, or other relevant data protection regulations.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
