Job summary

Stefanini Group in New York is hiring a Data Scientist to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data to support business decision-making. The role focuses on reporting, dashboard development, process automation, and delivering actionable insights using Power BI and Excel.

You will build data models and reports in Power BI, perform data analysis in Excel, and translate business requirements into analytical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, BI, or related role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard creation, data modeling, Power Query, and DAX.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, conditional formulas, charts, and data validation.
• Experience developing recurring and ad hoc reports for business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to automate repetitive reporting and data-processing tasks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business, technology, and operations teams to support data-driven initiatives.
• Document reporting processes, dashboard definitions, and automation procedures.

• Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
