We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to support ourBI & Analytics team supporting Global Operations and Financebyleveragingdata science, analytics, and predictive modeling. The successful candidate will provideoperational and financialinsights into ourlogistics, procurement,forecasting,inventory management, and supplier performance tooptimizeefficiency, reduce costs, and enhance decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Modeling :
Analyze large datasets related toglobal operations and finance(e.g., inventory,forecast,spending,andlogisticsperformance).
Develop predictive models to forecast demand, inventory levels, and procurement needs.
UseAI,statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and simulation techniques to optimize supply chain performance.
Process Optimization :
Identifybottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply chain, order management,logistics, and inventory balancingand recommend data-driven solutions.
Analyzeoperational workflowsto improve processes and reduce operational costs.
Develop and implement dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and supply chain metrics in real-time.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (procurement,supply/demand, finance, order management,logistics, manufacturing) toidentifydata needs and collaborate on problem-solving initiatives.
Present findings and actionable insights to stakeholders through reports and data visualizations.
Data Collection & Management :
Work with IT and data teams to ensure data integrity, streamline data pipelines, and enhance data storage solutions.
Design andmaintainsupply chain databases and data repositories to ensure continuous monitoring of performance metrics.
Use data to assess and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, supplier performance, and market changes.
Create simulation models toanticipateand prepare for potential supply chain challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, ora relatedfield.
3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a similar role (preferably in a supply chain orlogisticssetting).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and predictive modeling.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain management software.
Advanced knowledge of inventory management, procurement, andlogistics.
Experience with big data tools and technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Understanding ofAI and its potential applications in solving business problems.
Knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry standards.
