Job summary

A technology company in Juno Beach is seeking a Data Scientist to build tools and establish infrastructure for data flow using SQL, Power BI, and Python. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in data analysis and report writing, with a strong understanding of automation processes and REST API configuration.

Qualifications

• 2 – 3 years’ experience in data analysis and report writing roles.
• Independent self-starter attitude.
• Experience developing Power BI Reports and Dashboards.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI premium workspace.
• Capable of advanced calculations in a data set.
• Ability to work with Excel, SharePoint and Postgres Power BI Data Flows.
• Experience in Utility, Engineering or Construction industries (preferred).
• Strong database knowledge understanding data types, modeling, and best practices.
• Integration, API and ETL experience.
• Capable of implementing row-level security on data.
• Experience using Python with Power BI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Building tools and establishing infrastructure for an Excel, SQL database and Power BI data flow.
• Generating reports using large amounts of historical data and extrapolating points of inefficiency.
• Establishing automation of current manual processes and creating better rules for current automation.
• Set up and configuration of REST API endpoints.

Top MUST HAVE technologies
