Data Scientist and take the lead in designing and implementing advanced data science solutions using SQL, cloud platforms, and Large Language Models (LLMs). Your work will drive key business decisions through powerful insights, compelling visualizations, and effective storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Develop complex and optimized SQL queries for analyzing large datasets
- Perform data profiling, quality assurance, and data transformation tasks
- Work with relational databases and cloud-based data warehousing platforms
- Build and implement data science solutions leveraging LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, MosaicML, Hugging Face) within Databricks
- Explore and apply prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and embeddings for NLP use cases
- Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to uncover insights and predict trends
- Translate business challenges into actionable analytical approaches
- Effectively communicate analytical findings to non-technical audiences
- Utilize Power BI or Tableau to present data through impactful visualizations
- Deliver business-aligned insights to support strategic decision-making
Skills
Must-Have:
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for handling large-scale data
- Experience in data profiling, validation, and transformation
- Strong hands-on experience with relational and cloud data platforms
- Proven expertise in building LLM-based solutions within Databricks
- Solid background in statistical methods and machine learning
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and embeddings
- Ability to frame business problems as analytical challenges
- Strong communication skills for conveying technical insights to business users
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization
- Business-oriented presentation skills for driving decision-making
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc)
Technical certifications across relevant technologies are a plus
