We are seeking a Data Scientist to support advanced analytics, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Power BI, Python, SQL, and data visualization, along with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations
• Analyze and interpret large datasets using Python, SQL, and Excel
• Transform, cleanse, validate, and integrate data from multiple sources
• Build lightweight web applications and analytical tools when needed
• Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to solve business and mission challenges
• Create data visualization prototypes, presentations, and analytic reports
• Gather customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI (Tableau is not an acceptable substitute)
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel
• Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, statistics, data validation, or data visualization
• Active TS/SCI w Full Scope Polygraph
• Experience working with diverse data sources, data models, and reporting solutionsi
• Ability to independently solve complex problems and manage multiple prioritie
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting intelligence, defense, or mission-focused environments
• Experience with GitHub or other version control tools
• Experience with R programming.
• Familiarity with sponsor-specific data, applications, and data handling procedures.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant Intelligence Community or military data analysis experience may be substituted for a degree.
