Job summary

Corteva Agriscience is seeking Data Science Summer Interns to contribute to R&D projects in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will work on computer science-based initiatives, including AI, ML, data pipelines, and visualization, collaborating with experienced scientists in an industrial setting.

Ideal candidates are pursuing CS/DS-related degrees, have completed two years of undergraduate CS/DS coursework, and can relocate to Indianapolis for a 10-week program, May–August.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Automation or related field.
• Must have completed two full years of undergrad CS/DS coursework with labs.
• Strong technical data skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business users to gather requirements and improve internal tools.
• Explore and implement AI, ML, analytics, and automation to boost efficiency and data-driven decisions.
• Develop AI-enabled solutions using historical data to guide templates, workflows, and project management.
• Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources to improve data quality, dashboards, and insights.
• Enhance internal tools via workflow automation and process improvements.
• Work with GIS to develop new data products and assessments.
