Job summary

Corteva Agriscience in Indianapolis, IN offers full-time summer internships in our Research and Development organization. You will work with experienced scientists in an industrial R&D setting, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to meaningful projects from May to August.

We seek students pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Chemistry (analytical or biochemistry preferred) with at least two undergraduate chemistry courses and a 3.0+ GPA.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Chemistry (Analytical or Biochemistry preferred).
  • Two undergraduate chemistry courses with labs completed.
  • Experience with analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, mass spectrometry).
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
  • Must relocate to Indianapolis, IN for the internship duration.
  • Must work full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 weeks (May–August).

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of research including planning, preparation, calibration, application, evaluation, and analysis with supervisor.
  • Work safely, upholding Corteva's safety culture.
  • Demonstrate independent and creative thinking by making novel observations and interpreting data.
  • Maintain accurate records of experimental data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Present project reviews and a final poster at the end of the internship.
