A top-tier international law firm is seeking a Data Science & Innovation Engineer to spearhead its analytics and AI initiatives. In this highly strategic and hands-on role, you’ll lead innovation efforts across legal operations—deploying Generative AI, building scalable solutions, and developing impactful use cases that drive real business value. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who blends technical expertise with sharp business acumen—and wants to shape how law firms use data and AI in the real world.

What you bring to the table:

• 4+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or innovation leadership
• Deep expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and ML frameworks
• Proven success deploying data/AI projects within legal, financial, or regulated industries
• Experience automating review and classification of legal documents (e.g., contracts, arbitration clauses)
• Ability to translate legal workflows into scalable, tech-driven solutions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to guide attorneys, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with data engineering and visualization tools; experience building dashboards for business/legal use
• Experience with vector databases, unstructured data, and document intelligence platforms
• Knowledge of legal tech software, case management systems, or compliance analytics
• Track record of generating revenue or operational savings through data initiatives
• Experience managing and mentoring high-performing analytics teams

What you'll work on:

• Lead strategic AI/data initiatives across legal operations and client services
• Build end-to-end solutions for legal workflows using Generative AI, NLP, and internal datasets
• Automate document review and data extraction for litigation, employment, and arbitration workflows
• Collaborate with attorneys to evaluate use cases, estimate ROI, and implement solutions
• Create dashboards and data visualizations for depositions, trading logs, and firm operations
• Engineer custom tools when commercial software falls short—especially for large document sets
• Train lawyers and internal teams on AI fundamentals and emerging tech
• Represent the firm at industry events and contribute to its innovation brand
