The NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) offers unique research opportunities to highly‑talented scientists to engage in ongoing NASA research projects at a NASA Center, NASA Headquarters, or an affiliated research institute. These fellowships are one‑ to three‑year competitive assignments designed to advance NASA’s missions in space science, Earth science, aeronautics, space operations, exploration systems, and astrobiology.
IMPACT at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) supports the NASA Earth Science Data Systems program by integrating Earth observation data into decision‑making, monitoring advances in data science and information technology, and developing new solutions for Earth science data management and dissemination. IMPACT focuses on novel computational methods and IT to enhance acquisition, storage, processing, discovery, interchange, analysis, and visualization of Earth Science data.
