Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a highly motivated PhD Co-op to join the Neuroscience DDSAI team for Spring 2027. This role offers a unique opportunityto work within the team building outalargesingle-cell and multi-omicsatlasforneuropsychiatry.
The successful candidate will develop and apply advanced computational approaches to understand cell-type-specific disease mechanisms, map cell-cell communication networks,identifydysregulated signaling pathways in neuropsychiatry, and nominate novel therapeutic targets forneuropsychiatry discovery programsat J&J.
In addition to cell-cell communication analyses, the candidate will explorecutting-edgeAI/ML approaches thatleveragelarge-scale single-cell, genetic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and multimodal datasets to systematically prioritize actionable therapeutic targets and pathways.

Candidates must:
Hands-on experience applyingstate-of-the-artAI and computational biology approaches to real-world drug discovery challenges.
Exposure to one of the largest industry efforts in Neuropsychiatry data science, multi-omics, and precision medicine.
Mentorship from multidisciplinary experts spanning data science, neuroscience, genomics, translational biology, and drug discovery.
Opportunity to contribute directly to therapeutic target nomination and portfolio decisions for future Neuropsychiatry medicines.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The expected pay range for this position is between $23.50 per hour and $52.50 per hour but will be based on candidate’s program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns areeligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Opsand Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
