Job summary

Google is hiring a Research Data Science Manager for Trust & Safety in the US with locations in Atlanta, GA and Washington, DC. You will lead a global team of data scientists and analysts, drive strategic roadmaps, and partner with cross‑functional teams to reduce abuse and protect users across Google products.

You will translate complex analyses into business impact and guide safety initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, OR related quantitative field.
• 8 years analytics experience or 6 years with a PhD in data/problem solving.
• Experience leading teams of data scientists or analysts (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data scientists and analysts across Americas and EMEA.
• Define the team roadmap and partnerships to maximize impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers and analysts.
• Translate technical work into business impact for stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities in AI testing, responsible AI and risk quantification.
