Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Data Solutions and Model team to build machine learning models and AI tools at scale. You will work with a cross-functional team of data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver a product customers love.

You will leverage Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark, and related technologies to uncover insights from billions of records and translate them into business value for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field plus 6 years of analytics experience
• Master's degree in a quantitative field or MBA with quantitative concentration plus 4 years of analytics experience
• PhD in a quantitative field plus 1 year of analytics experience
• At least 1 year of experience leveraging open source programming languages for large-scale data analysis

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver data products customers love
• Leverage Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark to analyze large numeric and textual data
• Build machine learning models from design to deployment and evaluation
