Job summary

Stryker Corporation is offering a remote data science internship in the Trauma & Extremities division. You will develop and analyze data, model operations, and help forecast business outcomes across Inventory, PLCM, and Customer Service.

Develop, analyze and model operational, economic, management, accounting and other organizational data. Recommends solutions to new and complex problems, develops innovative strategies, quantifies the competitive performance of the organization's operations and/or markets, evaluates the potential impact of changes and reports on economic forecasts that affect the industry.

This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education or training.

The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making.

Technical knowledge required is limited to the tasks performed in own discipline area and is considered basic.

The tasks are generally routine and manual.

The job is expected to follow detailed and defined rules / instructions and to make simple judgement in straightforward situations. Typically requires selecting between solutions already established.

What You Need

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree‑seeking program after the internship.
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships
• Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.

Benefits and Pay

• $20 min hourly wage – $35 max hourly wage, sign-on bonus, 11 paid holidays annually, and either paid corporate housing or a living stipend, dependent upon hiring location.

Work Flexibility

Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.

Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.

Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.

Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co‑located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
