Job summary

Perpay is seeking a Data Science Intern to learn by doing real work. You will leverage large data sets to research, identify, and build features to train models that drive growth. Work closely with Engineering, Risk, Marketing, Merchandising, and Finance using Python, SQL, and Redshift.

The internship emphasizes hands-on experience, cross-functional collaboration, and exposure to a fast-growing fintech environment at our Philadelphia office.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s in a technical field with expected graduation date between winter 2027 and summer 2028.
• Knowledge of machine learning and statistical research.
• Experience using SQL for acquiring and transforming data.
• Proficient in programming and analysis using Python.

Responsibilities

• Learn by doing real work; build features to train models using large data sets.
• Collaborate with Eng, Risk, Marketing, Merchandising, and Finance to deliver modeling solutions.
• Gain hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Redshift in end-to-end data science tasks.
