Job summary

Perpay is seeking a Data Science intern to join our fast-growing team in Philadelphia. You’ll learn by doing real work on modeling, analytics, and features that power lending decisions and marketing insights, using Python (scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy) and SQL with Redshift.

During the internship, you’ll ship a first contribution, collaborate with Engineering, Risk, Marketing, Merchandising, and Finance, and gain hands-on experience in a startup environment that values impact, experimentation,

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or will receive a Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical discipline with an expected graduation date between winter 2027 – summer 2028, or equivalent relevant experience.
Knowledge of machine learning and statistical research.
Experience using SQL for acquiring and transforming data.
Proficient in programming, analysis, and visualization using object-oriented programming languages (Python preferred).

Responsibilities
