Job summary

Kforce is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Elk Grove, CA to lead data science and data engineering initiatives from planning through delivery. You will partner with technical and business teams to drive execution, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and ensure successful outcomes.

In this role you will coordinate cross-functionally, translate complex concepts for diverse audiences, and maintain clear documentation and stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing data science, analytics, or data engineering projects.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Track record of delivering results and driving projects to completion.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead data science and data engineering projects through the full project lifecycle
• Coordinate with engineering and business stakeholders to manage dependencies and anticipate impacts to data pipelines, reporting, and analytics
• Drive project execution, proactively identifying risks, blockers, and solutions
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, track action items, and maintain project documentation
• Communicate project status, decisions, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
• Ensure clear documentation, knowledge sharing, and alignment across teams
