Job summary

ZoomInfo Technologies LLC is seeking a Software Engineer II with a strong data science background to turn business questions into measurable insights. You will build models, deploy them, and monitor performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams across product, sales, and marketing.

You will work with Python, SQL, and Tableau to create dashboards, communicate results, and influence strategic decisions, leveraging Snowflake, Databricks, and Google Cloud Platform for scalable data

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a STEM or quantitative field (computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related).
• 2+ years of professional experience building and deploying data science or machine learning solutions, including at least one production deployment.
• Demonstrated experience translating business questions into research problems and communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Experience working with cloud data and ML platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Own research and development projects end-to-end. Define success metrics, through model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Translate business questions from various units into well-defined problems with KPIs, deliverables, and timelines.
• Assess feasibility, impact, and tradeoffs of proposed initiatives with cross-functional partners.
• Design and conduct rigorous statistical analyses and build predictive models.
• Design and implement production-ready pipelines for large-scale data, using distributed processing and cloud tools.
• Write modular, tested, maintainable code and participate in reviews to raise quality.
