Job summary

Otis is seeking a highly motivated Data Science & Analytics Intern for Summer 2027 to transform data into actionable insights. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify trends, improve performance, and explore AI/GenAI opportunities that drive business value.

The role requires enrollment in a Master’s or PhD program, with at least 12 months of graduate study in a quantitative field, and a willingness to collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders across a global organization.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. program with at least 12 months of graduate study.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis, data manipulation, and AI/GenAI technologies.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Data & AI team members and business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and define project requirements.
• Identify, access, and integrate data from multiple enterprise systems and platforms.
• Clean, transform, and analyze data to uncover meaningful insights and business opportunities.
• Develop and evaluate analytical models, machine learning solutions, or AI/GenAI workflows to address business challenges.
• Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations that support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Communicate results, insights, and recommendations through presentations, visualizations, and discussions with team members and stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging data science, AI, and analytics techniques and contribute innovative ideas to ongoing projects.
