Stride, Inc. is seeking a Data Science Analyst to assist in designing and executing models and data products that improve academic and business outcomes. You will leverage DBT, SQL, Python and GitHub to collect and model data to meet business needs and create Power BI-powered products.
The role requires 3 years of BI/SQL experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 10%. Compensation ranges from $57,519.75 to $82,000 with potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits
The Data Science Analyst assists in the preparation, design and execution of models and data products to improve the academic and business outcomes of Stride. The position participates as a member of the analytics team identifying and analyzing school data, proprietary data, and third‑party data to answer thoughtful and relevant research questions and provide replicable, well‑documented analyses.

Leverage products such as: DBT, SQL, Python and GitHub to collect, organize and model data sets for peak functionality per business requirement;
Design, Create, Deploy and Maintain various products and applications through the Power BIservice;
Provide ad-hoc analyses to drive insights, provide overviews of major conclusions, constraints or cautions;
Participate in cross functional relationships in order to synthesize data domain knowledge;
Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization including but not limited to data ownership;
Process confidential data and information according to guidelines;
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Information& Technology, DataAnalytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statisticsor a related field, or equivalent training
Three (3)years of relevant professional experience with BI tools and SQL modeling, including at least three (1) yearof experience performing action and outcome-oriented data analysisOR
Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases for BI products
O Equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
We anticipate the salary range to be $57,519.75 to $82,000. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
