Job summary

The Wistar Institute in Philadelphia, PA has an opening for an Implementation Specialist, Data and Research Management. The role focuses on implementing, supporting, and managing organization-wide initiatives in Laboratory Operations, including EHS, IACUC, IRB, and IBC.

You will work with Principal Investigators and lab staff to ensure successful adoption of software, administer data systems and research repositories, and assist with IRB-related protocol documentation and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; science-related field preferred; master’s in laboratory biomedical science preferred.
• At least two years of experience in an administrative or laboratory setting.
• Experience with Research Compliance and IRB desired.

Responsibilities

• Implement, support, and manage Lab Operations initiatives including EHS, IACUC, IRB and IBC.
• Support admin and continuous improvement of research data systems and scientific platforms.
• Collaborate with PIs and lab staff to ensure software adoption and access to repositories.
• Provide IRB program admin support: protocol docs, regulatory submissions, meetings.
