Job summary

ADM is seeking a Reporting and Data Specialist in Decatur, IL to build, maintain and optimize data and reporting systems for the East Plant. You will own PI content, align production reports and automate workflows to drive data-based decisions with operations, accounting and quality teams.

You will serve as PI SME, develop dashboards, and collaborate across IT and manufacturing to improve yield visibility and asset performance, while following safety and team guidelines.

Qualifications

• BS degree required in engineering, computer science, IT or equivalent.
• 5+ years in process operations with preferred exposure to engineering, project and operations management, or 5+ years in IT management systems and data processing and architecture systems with strong process operations acumen.
• Operations experience is preferred.
• Dedication to working safely and to the awareness for the safety of others.
• Excellent communication and people skills for working with plant personnel and regional management.
• Willingness to spend time in plant areas – tolerate extreme temperatures, walk long distances, stand, climb stairs and ladders and move through close spaces.
• Ability to work effectively on a team as well as independently while traveling to remote plant locations.

Responsibilities

• OSI PI Subject matter expert and super-user for site.
• Ownership of all PI reporter content; upgrade and maintain content.
• Align production reports; engineer out redundancy and inefficiency; automate where possible.
• Construct and maintain PI asset framework hierarchy.
• Ownership of PI Vision Dashboards; reduce redundancy and obsolescence.
• Utility reporting; daily and monthly process analysis and allocation tie-out.
• Align with operations and improvement team on yield reporting; rebuild yield file in partnership with accounting, operations, and engineering.
• Support improvement team with plant leadership to implement and track performance metrics.
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance and EHS teams to optimize data and reporting products.
• Partner on initiatives such as digital SMS, digital value stream mapping, advanced analytics, business intelligence, QMS systems and modernization.
