Job description

Data Reporting Analyst Senior (Sr or Sr II DOE) – Hybrid role (3 days/week in office) in Burlington, Renton, Spokane, Vancouver, Portland, Medford, Salt Lake City, Boise, Lewiston, or Fargo. Candidates must reside within commutable distance or be willing to relocate.

About the Role

As a Data Reporting Analyst Senior on the Payment Integrity team, you are a data and analytic consultant for functional business areas. You collect and analyze operation and financial data, present findings, assist business leaders with forecasting, and support evidence‑based decision making to improve the person‑focused health care experience.

Responsibilities
  • Mine and analyze data to develop new analytical models and reports.
  • Interpret results, develop methodologies, and recommend improvements for efficiency.
  • Review data and assist with strategic development using knowledge of health plan operations, data sources, structures, and cost‑containment strategies.
  • Identify reporting needs, assemble or oversee assembly of reports, and distribute information.
  • Document business requirements and methods used to generate work output.
  • Design, develop, oversee, and direct acceptance testing for new reports, programs, and models.
  • Drive analytic innovation and best practices within Cambia, serving as a resource on analytic programming tools and methods.
  • Lead meetings with internal and external constituents, oversee and direct analysts on a project basis, and assist in training team members.
  • Participate in quality improvement efforts to eliminate inefficient resource use.

  • Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills with proven ability to perform complex tasks independently.
  • Expert knowledge of health plan operations, data sources, and data structures; ability to document business requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in data mining tools and methods including SAS, OLAP, server reporting services, SPSS, Minitab, Tableau.
  • Advanced expertise in analytic programming tools including SAS, SQL, OLAP, Business Objects, and Crystal.
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and manage reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Strong project management and business acumen in finance, accounting, economics, risk management, or public health.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present findings clearly to various audiences.
  • Progressively responsible leadership experience with ability to represent the division in internal meetings.
  • Experience with AI tools and technologies is highly desired.
Pay and Benefits

Salary ranges vary by location. For the Data Reporting Analyst Senior role, ranges are $92,700 – $125,400 (Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho) with a bonus target of 15%. For the Senior II role, ranges are $111,400 – $150,700 (Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho) with a bonus target of 15%. Detailed salary information is provided for each state.
