Virginia Retirement System is seeking a Data Quality Technician to improve and maintain data quality across agency systems. The Data Quality Technician (DQT), reports to the agency’s Data Quality Analyst. As a member of the Data Office, this individual is responsible for improving and maintaining the quality, accuracy and completeness of VRS data, across all agency systems. The incumbent will help support enterprise-wide efforts to validate records, perform data lookups, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure ongoing data integrity. The ideal candidate for this position is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

This position follows a hybrid work model allowing for up to two days of remote work per week (Monday & Friday); the selected candidate must be able to work in the office any day of the week, as required by the manager.
Wage employees are eligible to work up to 1500 hours per measurement year (on average 29 hours per week); benefits are not provided for this position.
