Data Quality Product Owner — Enterprise Governance

Job summary

IntraEdge is seeking an experienced Data Quality Product Owner to lead enterprise data quality governance within our Data Governance organization in Charlotte, NC. You will define standards, rules, and KPIs, and drive adoption across data stewards, owners, and technology teams.

The role requires 10+ years in data quality/governance, strong communication skills, and prior Agile PO/PM experience. Knowledge of Alation, Collibra, and cloud data platforms is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, or Data Strategy.
• Strong communications skillset and confidence interacting with stakeholders as a Data Quality SME.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise Data Quality frameworks.
• Implementation of Data Quality dimensions: Accuracy, Completeness, Consistency, Timeliness, Validity, Uniqueness.
• Hands-on experience creating and configuring Data Quality rules and validations.
• Experience with Data Governance operating models, Data Stewards, Data Owners, and Governance Councils.
• Proven experience driving enterprise adoption, stakeholder engagement, training, and change management.
• Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and CDEs.
• Experience in Agile environments as PO/PM.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise Data Quality product roadmap and execution with Data Governance and Data Strategy leadership.
• Define and implement enterprise Data Quality standards, scorecards, KPIs, and monitoring processes.
• Design, create, and maintain data quality rules across critical data domains.
• Identify CDEs, define quality thresholds, and establish remediation workflows.
• Drive enterprise adoption of Data Quality capabilities through training and change management.
• Deliver presentations on Data Quality best practices and governance processes.
• Collaborate with Tech, Engineering, and Platform teams to prioritize Data Quality requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical capabilities for implementation.
• Monitor Data Quality metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Facilitate governance forums for reviewing performance and improvements.
• Embed Data Quality controls into data pipelines and operational processes.
• Establish repeatable Data Quality issue management processes.
