Job Overview
Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Quality Lead Analyst at the Getzville, New York location to manage CVA risk data quality, drive KPI monitoring, and lead data improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Issue identification, escalation and remediation for Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA) risk data.
- Perform data quality analysis, set controls and guidelines for measurement, evaluation, adoption and communication of Data Quality and its associated risk.
- Monitor KPIs and metrics and define/interpret data quality issues.
- Lead project and initiative management related to CVA data improvements.
- Support activities to drive Data Quality measurement, produce dashboards and reports, and implement strategies to govern data.
- Build partnerships to monitor and remediate data concerns across the firm.
- Understand data needs for regulatory and internal reporting, navigating various systems and providing in‑depth analysis.
- Supervise reconciliation and data quality measurement of CVA data.
- Utilize Excel, VBA, MS Access, SQL/programming and Tableau to analyze and present reports to senior management.
- Liaise with other areas to understand data challenges and run consumption demand and requirements.
- Lead day‑to‑day activities to support data quality resolution and optimize metrics reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Information Technology and Management or related field, or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years progressive post‑baccalaureate experience.
- 3‑year experience as a Business Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Management Reporting Senior Analyst, Risk Reporting Analyst, or similar role in global financial services.
- Experience developing KPIs and metrics for business intelligence reporting.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, market risk management, Excel, VBA, MS Access, SQL, Tableau, and Python.
- Ad‑hoc reporting for senior management and project management of data analytics initiatives.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present complex data to senior leadership.
Salary
$125,674 to $131,500
