Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Data Quality Engineer in Charlotte, NC on a 12-month contract. The role focuses on quality engineering for Credit Risk data platforms, including functional and automation testing, data validation, and root cause analysis.

You will work with business users, developers and data engineers to troubleshoot data quality issues and support regulatory initiatives, leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in data-centric projects including data flow analysis and data profiling.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and distributed data processing frameworks.
• Strong SQL, data analysis and code analysis skills to troubleshoot data quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing, automation testing and data validation.
• Investigate defects and support data platform enhancements and regulatory initiatives.
