Job summary

Milan Laser Hair Removal is seeking a Data Quality Specialist to champion data quality across its data platform. The role builds automated checks, defines standards, and partners with data engineers, BI, and stakeholders to embed quality into new pipelines.

You’ll investigate issues, identify root causes, and drive improvements for reliable decision data. Ideal candidates will have a strong SQL background, experience with Snowflake or similar warehouses, and familiarity with data quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, statistics, or related field or equivalent combination is required.
• One year of experience with data quality, data analysis, quality assurance, or database systems.
• Three years of SQL experience is required.
• Understanding of data quality concepts (accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency) is required.
• Ability to communicate technical issues to business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Milan’s data quality framework, standards, and documentation.
• Build and maintain automated data quality checks using Snowflake and related tooling.
• Monitor pipelines and datasets for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Investigate data quality issues, identify root causes, and drive remediation.
• Collaborate with data engineers, BI team, and stakeholders to embed data quality checks into pipelines and reports.
