Position Description:

  • Assist in the development and execution of data quality and validation tasks rules to ensure accuracy and consistency across datasets.
  • Conduct data profiling to analyze and assess data quality and completeness and work with senior team members to create remediation recommendations.
  • Maintain and update data catalog systems to facilitate data discovery and metadata management.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to support data governance initiatives.
  • Gain familiarity with Datatrust and Microsoft Purview to support catalog and data validation efforts.
  • Develop basic knowledge of relational data models to support data mapping and validation efforts.

Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn data governance best practices
  • 1-3 years’ experience
  • Breadth and depth of expertise in a technical or functional area; knowledge of work processes and tools is generally limited to own area of responsibility or department
  • Collecting and analyzing raw data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and other helpful information.

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $51,270.00 - $74,340.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
