Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Data Protection Engineer for a 100% remote contract. You will lead a 5x9 data protection environment using Protegrity technologies, drive automation with Ansible, and implement Terraform-based AWS serverless deployments.

You will also maintain security policies and integrate with Snowflake and Teradata. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in cryptography, and 3+ years in cyber security engineering, plus hands-on Linux/SELinux experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Cryptography experience of at least 2 years.
• 3+ years in Cyber Security Engineering.
• 2+ years in Cloud Native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• 2+ years Unix/Linux administration.
• 2+ years SELinux experience.
• 2+ years with Protegrity Data Protection solutions.
• 2+ years DevOps using Ansible.
