Job summary

The Building People is seeking a Data Project Manager to support a federal client. The role focuses on using PowerPlatform, CAD, and other design/space software to support Project Management, Occupancy Planning, and Move Managers.

Candidates should have extensive experience with data integration, analytics, and space utilization reporting. Telework arrangements are subject to customer requirements; a background screening and government clearance are expected for this role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building data analytics dashboards and reports
• Experience in data integration, metrics development, and reporting

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in build-out and refinement of PowerPlatform-based tools to collect, process, and measure data from multiple sources
• Collect and analyze data from multiple sources and maintain integrity of datasets
• Develop dashboards, trackers, and reports to support space utilization and move planning
• Analyze space utilization trends and identify inefficiencies and risks; propose improvements
• Support space planning, seating optimization, and office move coordination
• Manage and report space allocation data and related analyses
• Maintain data integrity by validating source information and documenting assumptions

We are, however, accepting applications for this anticipated need. The Building People, LLC, has a position for a Data Project Manager to support a federal client. The Data Project Manager uses PowerPlatform, CAD, and other design/space technology software to provide support to Project Management, Occupancy Planning, and Move Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides expertise in build-out, management, and refinement of PowerPlatform-based tools used to collect, process and measure data from multiple sources to produce valuable metrics on space utilization
• Collect and analyze data from multiple sources
• Collect, maintain, analyze, and report space, occupancy, workforce, and facilities-related data to support decision-making
• Develop and maintain dashboards, trackers, reports, charts, and other visuals to support space utilization, move planning, and resource requirements
• Analyze space utilization trends, identify gaps, conflicts, inefficiencies, and risks, and recommend practical improvements to support operations
• Support physical space planning, seating optimization, office move coordination, and implementation planning.
• Manage and report space allocation data
• Proactively monitor space allocation data and changes and generate needed reports and analysis on space allocation and utilizationli>
• Maintain data integrity by validating source information, resolving discrepancies, documenting assumptions, and ensuring reports and dashboards reflect current conditions

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience developing, maintaining, and using analytic models, dashboards, visualizations, reports, or data-driven decision-support products
• Demonstrated experience in data integration and analytics, metrics development, reporting, visualization, and reporting
• Demonstrated experience supporting space management, facilities coordination, resource planning, or related operational planning functions
• Expertise in PowerPlatform-based tools and the methodologies and calculations used to generate and analyze allocation models.
• Excellent organization and documentation experience required
• Anticipates, identifies, quantifies, and resolves problems in a timely and positive manner
• Consistently meets deadlines and completes tasks as previously defined
• Ability to pass a "suitability" background investigation and ability to gain a MINIMUM OF TOP SECRET CLEARANCES (with eligibility for SCI access) required

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Understanding or proficiency with CAD or similar tools
• Experience supporting national security or defense agencies preferred
• Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with construction and furniture terminology

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business, Information Systems, Facilities Management, Geography, Geospatial Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred Education

• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business, Information Systems, Facilities Management, Geography, Geospatial Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Salary offered will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and certifications.
