Job summary

Urban Dove Team Charter School is seeking a Data and Programming Associate to deliver key data analysis and craft an academic/testing schedule for over-age, under-credited students. You will support stakeholders with actionable insights and help coordinate learning activities.

You will collaborate with staff to recruit and enroll students, monitor graduation timelines, and generate growth reports. This role emphasizes teamwork, restorative practices, and commitment to UD Team values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience in schools preferred.
• Transfer School experience a plus.
• Ability to multi-task and deliver high-quality work.
• Desire to devise programming for the population UD Team serves.

Responsibilities

• Foster a welcoming environment for students, families, staff, and visitors.
• Actively participate in the Attendance Task Force.
• Aid in student recruitment, enrollment, and school events.
• Mentor a select group of students and engage in staff activities.
• Schedule students on platforms like Jupiter, iXL, Achieve 3000, and Rosetta Stone.
• Oversee test administrations from midterms to Regents exams.
• Handle test logistics: rosters, proctoring, disposal of exams.
• Coordinate Regents Field Testing and Reading/Math Inventories.
• Monitor graduation timelines and alternate pathways.
• Process student transfers and maintain accountability data.
• Ensure adherence to credit requirements and accurate records.
• Handle compliance reports (BEDS) and Per Pupil billing.
• Generate reports on credit accumulation, attendance, and test outcomes.
• Produce growth reports for Reading/Math Inventories and Regents exams.
• Share data with teams to inform decisions.

Urban Dove Team Charter School (UD Team) is a distinctive network of sports-based high schools catering to over-aged, under-credited youth. We fuse a robust academic curriculum with sports-based youth development, ensuring our graduates receive a diploma, a stepping stone for higher education, and essential job skills.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Foster a welcoming environment for students, families, staff, and visitors.
• Actively participate in the Attendance Task Force.
• Aid in student recruitment, enrollment, and school events.
• Mentor a select group of students and engage in staff activities.
• Schedule students on platforms like Jupiter, iXL, Achieve 3000, and Rosetta Stone.

• Handle test logistics: student rosters, proctoring schedules, and exam disposal.
• Coordinate specialized testing like Regents Field Testing and Reading/Math Inventories.
• Monitor graduation timelines and alternate pathways.
• Process student transfers, discharges, and maintain UD Team's accountability data.
• Ensure adherence to graduation credit requirements and accurate student record-keeping.
• Handle compliance reports, such as BEDS, and assist with Per Pupil billing.
• Generate reports on credit accumulation, attendance, and test outcomes.
• Produce growth reports for Reading and Math Inventories and Regents exams.
• Share relevant data with teams, ensuring informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience in schools preferred

Compensation:

$45,760 to $50,000 annually based on years of experience and education.
