Simon & Schuster is investing in Data & Decision Intelligence to embed data, tools, and automation into everyday work and enable faster, better-informed decisions. The Manager or Senior Manager, Data Products & Programs will lead a portfolio of data- and AI-enabled software initiatives from problem definition through launch, adoption, and value realization.

This role blends product management, program leadership, software delivery, and business transformation while shaping the function's

Qualifications

7+ years in product management or related roles, including leadership of cross-functional initiatives.
Experience leading software products through discovery, requirements, design, and deployment.
Strong product discovery, roadmapping, prioritization, and release management skills.
Working knowledge of data platforms, analytics, APIs, automation, and responsible-use controls.
Ability to simplify complex workflows and drive adoption with stakeholders.
Proven ability to communicate decisions and tradeoffs to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Own product outcomes grounded in measurable value.
Lead the full software delivery lifecycle from discovery to deployment.
Turn enterprise priorities into sequenced plans and investment choices.
Coordinate across publishing, commercial, operations, finance, engineering, analytics, and security.
Manage delivery rigor including budgets, risks, vendors, and release readiness.
Design for adoption with user involvement, pilots, and training.
Guide responsible-data and AI product requirements into delivery plans.
Measure adoption, cycle time, and business impact to refine strategy.
