Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Data Product Owner to drive strategy, roadmaps, and delivery of data products within the Investment Services Data Domain. You will translate business needs into scalable, governed data products that support reporting, analytics, and AI-enabled use cases.

The role oversees full product lifecycle, collaborates with data engineering, governance, and analytics teams, and promotes data-as-a-product principles. A hybrid schedule with in-office presence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience defining business requirements, user stories, roadmaps, and prioritization frameworks.
• Experience collaborating with business and technology to deliver data, analytics, or tech solutions.
• Ability to lead multi-stakeholder initiatives with competing priorities and complex requirements.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and priorities for data products.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs into user stories and backlogs.
• Lead intake, prioritization, and roadmap discussions balancing business value and capacity.
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and governance teams to deliver scalable data products.
• Champion data-as-a-product concepts including governance, data quality, metadata, and lineage.
• Drive adoption and measure business outcomes through stakeholder feedback and metrics.
• Support development of gold data products to accelerate modernization and consistency.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and modernize data assets, including cloud migration.
