Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Data Platform Product Manager to own the roadmap and backlog for our enterprise data platform. You will translate analytics needs from Operations, Finance, and Marketing into clear requirements for the Data Engineering and Architecture teams.

This role sits at the intersection of product management and data platform delivery within the Product & Engineering division. This role offers hybrid or remote work in the United States, with responsibilities including prioritizing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3 years in product management, business analysis, or related role, preferably supporting a data/analytics platform.
• Experience with cross-functional technical teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of backlog management tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, ZenDesk.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the data platform product roadmap and backlog, prioritizing features and technical debt.
• Partner with senior leaders to align the roadmap with broader strategy and business priorities.
• Gather, document, and prioritize requirements from Operations, Finance, Marketing, and other departments.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release coordination for platform initiatives.
• Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and the data team, communicating timelines and blockers.
• Define and track KPIs for platform initiatives, including adoption and data quality.
• Use data insights and stakeholder feedback to inform day-to-day product decisions.
• Maintain and prioritize platform-related support requests and triage issues.
• Support integrations across core systems (Yardi, RealPage, UKG, Salesforce) and validate functionality.
• Facilitate stakeholder demos, training, and documentation to drive adoption.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate documentation and stakeholder communication.
