Job summary

The Methodical Group is seeking a Data Product Manager in Minnesota to lead strategy, roadmap, and execution of scalable data products. You will steward curated datasets, analytics platforms, and modern data infrastructure, partnering with data architecture, engineering, analytics, and policy teams to deliver trusted assets.

You will guide data modernization efforts as legacy systems transition to data lakes, curation platforms, and cloud environments, while ensuring governance and data sharing

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in data management, data analytics, data engineering, product management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated product leadership and ability to drive full product lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data systems, pipelines, ETL, data lakes, warehousing, and governance.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language for stakeholders.
• Experience with SQL, cloud data platforms, and BI/analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for enterprise data products.
• Transform data into governed, reusable products and platforms.
• Collaborate with data architecture, engineering, science, analytics, and policy teams.
• Drive data modernization from mainframes to data lakes and cloud environments.
• Translate needs into roadmaps, requirements, user stories, and backlogs.
• Promote data quality, metadata, governance, security, and compliance.
