Job description

Data Product Manager, Incentives (hybrid)

Tandigm Health, a transformational leader in population health management, is looking for a Data Product Manager, Incentives in the greater Philadelphia area. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package and are proud to share a culture where every person feels valued and empowered.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Are you passionate about turning complex healthcare data into trusted insights that drive real business impact? Tandigm Health is looking for a Data Product Manager, Incentives, to lead the strategy, development, and ongoing management of data products that support provider incentive programs, performance measurement, and value-based care initiatives.

In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of business strategy, analytics, finance, product management, and technology. You’ll help define the metrics, methodologies, business rules, and reporting requirements that bring clarity and confidence to incentive performance. Your work will directly support leaders, provider partners, and operational teams as they evaluate performance, administer incentive programs, and make strategic decisions that improve outcomes for providers, members, and the organization.

The ideal candidate is someone who can translate business needs into actionable requirements, build alignment across cross‑functional teams, and ensure data products are accurate, scalable, governed, and easy to understand. You’ll partner closely with Business areas, Product Management, Finance, Analytics and Actuarial, and IT Data Services Engineering teams to create reliable information that supports incentive transparency, operational effectiveness, and measurable business value.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Product Strategy and Roadmap:
  • Develop a strong understanding of Tandigm's provider incentive programs, value-based care contracts, quality measures, attribution methodologies, and performance management processes.
  • Translate business objectives and strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, product enhancements, and delivery plans.
  • Define and maintain the roadmap for Incentives data products, reporting capabilities, and analytical solutions.
  • Partner with other Product Management teams, such as Risk Accuracy, Quality, Clinical, FAA, and operational teams, to understand business objectives and prioritize data product investments.
  • Define and monitor success measures for the Incentives data product portfolio, including data quality, adoption, timeliness, transparency, and business impact.
  • Evaluate product performance and identify opportunities to improve scalability, operational effectiveness, and business value.
Data Product Definition and Delivery:
  • Establish trusted definitions for provider performance measures, incentive calculations, quality metrics, attribution methodologies, and value-based care outcomes.
  • Partner with IT Data Services Engineering, Analytics, and Business Intelligence teams to translate requirements into scalable data products, reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Define requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and validation requirements to support successful delivery.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical constraints, and organizational priorities.
  • Validate delivered solutions to ensure alignment with approved business definitions, calculations, and reporting requirements.
  • Guide the ongoing operation of data products, including monitoring data quality and product outcomes, investigating exceptions and discrepancies, coordinating issue resolution, and ensuring products remain reliable as source data, business rules, and business requirements change.
  • Ensure data product definitions, calculations, business rules, and outcomes are clearly documented, traceable to business requirements, and sufficiently transparent to support validation and stakeholder understanding.
Cross-functional Partnership & Governance:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
  • Facilitate alignment on product priorities, metric definitions, business rules, and roadmap decisions across stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Data Governance team to support data quality, metadata management, business glossary definitions, and governance standards.
  • Communicate product priorities, roadmap updates, and business outcomes to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Gather stakeholder feedback and incorporate insights into future product planning and enhancements.
Business Outcomes:

The Incentives data product portfolio should enable business leaders, provider partners, and operational teams to confidently answer questions such as:

  • How are providers performing against incentive goals and value-based care objectives?
  • What factors are driving incentive performance and financial outcomes?
  • Which quality, utilization, cost, and operational measures have the greatest impact on incentive results?
  • Where are the greatest opportunities to improve provider performance and incentive achievement?
  • How are incentive methodologies, calculations, and performance measures being applied across the organization?
  • What actions should be prioritized to improve outcomes for providers, members, and Tandigm?

Success is measured by stakeholder confidence in the information used to manage incentive programs, evaluate performance, and make business decisions, not simply by the number of reports, dashboards, or datasets delivered.

Other Responsibilities:
  • Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate Tandigm Health’s commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer.
  • Uses, protects, and discloses Tandigm’s patients’ protected health information only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act standards and protects Tandigm assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference.
  • Adheres to and is responsible for abiding by all information security policies, processes, and activities.
  • Reports security events or potential events or other security risks to the organization to management.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
