Job summary

Fundbox in New York/Bla, Chelsea area, is hiring a Data Product Manager to own data integrity and reporting infrastructure for lender relationships. This hybrid role combines product thinking with hands-on data engineering to build and maintain high‑quality data outputs that underpin funding relationships.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in data/analytics or reporting
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python and ability to build data pipelines independently
• Strong product mindset with ability to translate requirements into data specs
• Experience overseeing analytical work across teams or geographies
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to senior leadership
• Capital markets/structured finance experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end data reporting for capital markets facilities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Write and maintain SQL and Python pipelines to extract, validate, and transform loan portfolio data
• Identify gaps in reporting processes and build proactive solutions to align data across systems
• Translate business and compliance requirements into clear data specifications for BI and engineering teams
• Treat reporting as a product by owning requirements, documentation, and quality standards
• Oversee and review work of other data analysts supporting capital markets reporting
• Collaborate with capital markets, credit, and finance teams to evolve reporting as the business grows
