# Data Product ManagerApply**Job#: 3055553****Job Description:**Data Product Manager**Location:** Plano, Texas (Hybrid)**Alternate Location:** Charlotte, NCRole OverviewThis role is part of a horizontal function supporting all delivery verticals within a data strategy and delivery organization. The Data Product Manager will define data domain-level strategies and establish consistent end-to-end data flow design patterns. This position is central to enabling accurate and timely data-focused requirements scoping by coordinating across business and technology teams to synergize efforts across multiple projects, ensuring regulatory and audit compliance, and enabling reusable design patterns.Key Responsibilities* Define data domain and capability strategies, target patterns, and modernization pathways; co-develop and maintain roadmaps with delivery teams.* Assess new requests to drive data landscape simplification, modernization, and governance, influencing scope and design decisions.* Lead the adoption of target data patterns and co-own business-driven governance to ensure control efficacy and compliance readiness.* Lead strategic enablers during PI Planning and enforce alignment with enterprise blueprints and standardized data patterns.* Validate Epic acceptance criteria for strategic and governance fit; advise on design trade-offs, prioritization, and dependency management.* Serve as the strategy-layer product manager, capturing and prioritizing client, regulatory, and operational use cases to drive reuse and measurable value.* Promote canonical data contracts, shared services, and interoperability across domains, championing culture change and the use of pattern libraries.Required Qualifications**Experience:** A background with typically 10+ years in data, architecture, or product roles, including 5+ years in Payments, Treasury, or banking, with proven delivery in regulated environments.**Technical Skills:*** Global Payments domain expertise, including payment rails, clearing/settlement, cross-border flows, correspondent banking, treasury/payments operations, ISO 20022, and SWIFT MT/MX.* Knowledge of regulatory reporting, including PSD2/Open Banking, AML/Sanctions (GFCC), NFRR/FRR reporting controls, audit readiness, and data retention/lineage requirements.* Proficiency in data strategy architecture, including canonical data modeling, shared contracts/APIs, event-driven and batch patterns, lineage/metadata, reference/master data, and data quality controls.* Experience in governance leadership, including design-pattern stewardship, control frameworks, standards enforcement, and policy-to-implementation traceability.* Familiarity with enterprise alignment, collaboration with Enterprise Architects, blueprint adherence, pattern libraries, and PI Planning of strategic enablers (SAFe or similar).* Product management skills including roadmap definition, backlog curation, Epic/Feature acceptance criteria, and use-case prioritization.* Ability to perform portfolio intake discovery, challenging scope for simplification and modernization while managing dependencies and risks.* Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills with experience in cross-functional influence and multi-location collaboration.Preferred Qualifications* Familiarity with modern data practices such as data mesh or product-based operating models and event streaming (e.g., Kafka).* Experience guiding migration to modern cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), including data lakes/warehouses, streaming, and real-time payments integration.* Certifications such as SAFe POPM/Architect, CDMP/DAMA, and cloud certifications (Azure/AWS) are desired. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
