Job summary

Capital Group in Southern California is seeking a Data Product Specialist to partner with business, data domain owners, and technology teams to define and deliver data products, analytics, and reporting that improve decision-making and drive business outcomes.

You will lead end-to-end data product lifecycle, collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into data requirements, and coach teams to present clear, evidence-based insights across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience defining data product vision and roadmap aligned to business priorities.
• Experience leading end-to-end data product lifecycles from discovery to retirement.
• Ability to translate data into clear requirements and insights for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive a data product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Lead end-to-end data product lifecycle (intake, discovery, prioritization, delivery, adoption, measurement, retirement).
• Partner with data domain owners to assess current-state maturity, define target maturity, and execute a plan to close gaps.
• Translate decision needs into data and insight requirements for stakeholders.
• Coach teams to communicate findings with clear narratives and effective data visualizations.
