Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Technical Manager, IT Applications (DATA) to design and maintain high-quality data models that underpin enterprise data products. You will bridge business, engineering, analytics, and governance to ensure scalable, compliant data assets.

You will lead data product strategy, drive roadmaps, and collaborate with SAP, SAP BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI, and data lakes across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Advanced English language skills (spoken and written).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data modeling and database design across SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience in data product development and roadmap definition is a plus.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation.
• Proficiency with modeling tools Erwin or ER/Studio.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement data models across conceptual, logical, and physical layers.
• Create ERDs and data flow diagrams to document the data landscape.
• Collaborate with DBAs, software engineers, and data engineers to deploy models.
• Perform performance tuning to optimize data storage and retrieval.
• Ensure models align with governance, security, and enterprise standards.
• Define technical designs and review data models for architectures and integrations.
• Lead data product strategy, lifecycle management, and roadmaps.
• Coordinate data contracts, SLAs, and governance frameworks.
• Oversee metadata, documentation, and data lineage standards.
• Facilitate workshops with business and IT to define requirements and scope.
