Qualifications

• Ability to read orders, verify accuracy, and communicate with customers.
• Strong problem solving, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orders are transmitted, checked and verified before picking.
• Upload all customer orders and read for accuracy.
• Edit customer orders in AS400 as needed and contact customers with questions.
• Support sales with price books and shelf tags; maintain Cipher unit inventory and repairs.

Job Title: Data Processing Clerk

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Description

To support the overall organization by accurately and effectively insuring that all customer’s orders are transmitted, checked and verified before picking.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Information Systems Support
• Uploading all customer’s orders
• Reading each customer’s order to ensure accuracy
• Identifying issues on orders
• Editing customer’s orders as needed and making changes in AS400
• Calling customers with questions, concerns, problems, etc.
• Research problems, take appropriate action, follow up with any trends
• Pick, assemble & invoice current day customers.
• Support the sales team with price books, shelf tags, etc
• Handle all customer requests on ordering unit (Cipher unit).
• Keep inventory & repair log of Cipher Units.
• Customer Service
• Adhere to professional and courteous treatment of all customers, both internal and external.
• Follow up to ensure all customer issues will be resolved as quickly and accurately as possible.
• Knowledge Skills & Abilities
• Computer experience required.
• Microsoft Office (word, excel, etc).
• Experience with AS400 preferred.
• Must have problem solving capabilities.
• Must be organized and detail oriented when relaying information.
• 10 Key by Touch.
