Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years of financial services experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, Data privacy or compliance.
• Demonstrate confident leadership and sound judgement to influence risk culture.
• Strong understanding of the 3 lines of defense in banking institutions, Compliance, Conduct & Operational Risk Frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process reviews with Data Privacy and Data Governance teams to identify risks and design mitigating controls.
• Establish and implement firmwide common controls and socialize with control teams.
• Understand Data Policy and Data Governance Standards and act as SME to Business and Control partners.
• Support Data Governance risk management and control processes across programs.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Operational Risk, and Audit to manage control environment and regulatory exams.
• Lead and motivate a high-performing team of control managers and drive continuous improvement.
